You are welcome! I am happy to see how quickly you added this to the website!
As my first passion is genealogy, it is always interesting when one finds unexpected relationships among people. Of course, in the early days of a region, when there were few people, most ended up related in one way or another. I THINK I have finally connected Robert R. Green to Benjamin Green, and in the process also to E M. Orn. My most recent research, although not completely documented, indicates that Robert and Benjamin Green are indeed brothers, and had other siblings as well. Their father apparently died between 1825 and 1830. Their mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Green, took for her second husband Ebenezer M. Orn around 1831. Mr. Orn had children from his first marriage as well, and together they had three more. These three men were all under the command of Capt. O'harra. Washington Farmer, also in O'harras company, quite possibly is the brother-in-law to Robert Green. Robert's first wife was Cinderella (Sinderila) Farmer, they were married in 1834.
This, of course, is ongoing research and subject to corrections.
I suppose another topic could be started on the message boards to discuss the genealogy of those who fought in the Black Hawk War?

Hello, Joni, and thank you for your post!
Mindful that we have several board participants interested in geneology, your idea for a seperate catagory is a good one. I'll mention it to the Discussion Board Administrator.
Again,... thank you for sharing this company roster!
Regards, Bob.
