Mr. Ayers, Feel free to check out either of the sites listed below. The first is a public access site and the second requires signing on before accessing the site. www.geocities.com/alamo169/groups.yahoo.com/group/Alamo169/ Alamo169 is a total immersion, juried living history event. We'll be portraying the siege and final assualt of the Alamo. Guidelines are strict and all participants are expected to portray their characters in the first person. Registration fee is $50 non refundable after being accepted and this covers event insurance, meals and the like. If there are any further questions feel free to email me and I'll do my best to answer you in a timely manner. Hope to hear from you soon! We will just have to see what school and other projects allow. I am sure this will be the best Alamo event since we did Alamo 162. Take care of the little Ranger.

List, The registration deadline has been set for January 31st. This means your registration MUST be in by January 31st or you'll miss the boat for Alamo169. I understand that some of you have kits in the process of manufacture right now and for those of you in this situation I ask that you send your registration form and check(made to Scott McMahon or The Southwestern Frontiers Mounted Ranging Company) in to me with an extremely detailed description of your kit and who is making it for you and your registration will be handled as if you'd sent in your photos. For those of you bringing horses you'll need coggins and a state health certificate and these must be presented before unloading. Due to a recent turn of events regarding insurance we'll have powder rations for artillery as well as hay rations for the cavalry. What I need is a definite head count on Texian artillery and cavalry(already have the numbers for the MExican side of things) ASAP so if you're planning on registering let me know and get your registration in the mail. If you've already sent in registration but have not heard back from me just yet be patient, I'm sending a handful of papers out today or tomorrow. Please take this email seriously as after January 31st I won't be accepting registration. If you know folks who aren't on this board but are interested in participating please pass this information on to them. As always if there are any questions regarding the above feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to get you the answer you need. Please ensure that if you desire to attend the Alamo 169 event, you should foward the paperwork and fees Scott has requested prior to the January 31 deadline.
Events of this quality and magnitude-- don't just "happen." They require hundreds of volunteer man-hours and years of planning and preparation (much of it unseen and therefore generally underappreciated by the majority of participants.)
Please do your part to make this event a success by reading and following the participant guidelines and forwarding the appropriate paperwork as indicated.
Regards,
Bob Braun "Lieutenant Bob Campbell Tennessee Volunteers."
