For those interested, Greg Dimmick's work on documenting Mexican Army camp sites in the San Bernard River area following San Jacinto is now out in book form. It is called "Sea of Mud" and does a very fine job. There is lot of material culture stuff in this book. Publisher is Texas State Historical Association in Austin. Also, Ed Miller's work on New Orleans and the Texas Revolution is out, published by Texas A&M University. I read an early manuscript of this and it was quite good.
