If we can all be treated non stop to photos of some naked men with US soldiers pointing at them then we should all be bombarded with the video of these terrorists slowly SAWING and HACKING Nick Berg's head off, while he is screaming and gurgling. www.dreamscapesoftheperverse.com/iraq.htmIf you have the guts, watch the video then look at the photos. Then tell me it's the same thing.

Several of my family members live in Mt Horeb - a subdivision ( i lived there for 3 years too) and my sister took several photographs of a wolf walking near their house a few years ago. They seem to be making somewhat of a comeback but it is slow.

I'm a fan of the drawings Bingham did as studies primarily for the final paintings. There are few books out there that show these (one is at the Wis Historical Society). The drawings show more detail and look more gritty and immediate. There are also many more single figure studies that were not used too that show lots of interesting details.

All armies, especially those in the 15th - 19th centuries had access to spirits in varying degrees and I submit that usually it is only a crucial factor if people in command are seriously drunk.
at Old Man creek it appears it was a contributing factor but most likely the MAIN factor was that most of these troops just panicked and ran which is, to me, a bigger "embarrassment" to the militia than just saying "oh, they were drunk".

Congratulations to Bob Birmingham and others at the Historical Society of Wisconsin geting Blue Mound Fort on the Natinal Register of Historic Places.
Does anyone know what other forts are being researched and/or excavated right now?
