I am notified by my brother-in-law that I was photographed "shooting my gun" at LNS and that the picture appeared in the Pekin Times. That would indicate that the photo moved on the Associated Press wire. I saw two photogs there, a guy from the Springfield State Journal-Register and Seth Perlman from the AP, who I know from working at the State Capitol about 10 years ago. I was certain that if any picture at all was used, if would have been the one of me sleeping under the big tree before drill (a much more accurate likeness than the more militant photo they actually used.)
In any case, it should be an interesting photo because all I fired all weekend were caps... I haven't checked the bore yet on my original percussion shotgun and wanted to be safe (what a concept!)

Rusty,
No comment on flack! Betsy took some excellent pics using a disposable I brought along. She managed to get several pics on Sunday as we were in mid-fire. Very nice. Some of the drill pics from Saturday are good too.
