Has anyone been watching that Speilburg series on cable TV "Into the West?"
What portions did you see? What do you think of the program?

I think that it is pretty good so far, though parts of the story line don't seem flow well, like when they introduce the young women in Lawernace, Kan. The one thing that keeps bugging me is that during the esp. with the Mexican War, there were a US regular wearing the 1833 collaspable forage hat. I don't think that they were still in use.
