My name is Rick Guglielmi, I found your great site while researching information on the Battalion of Mounted Rangers. I have many questions for both a portrayal of this mounted battalion and research for a potential article. I have been looking through your many forum discussions and also catching up on a little BHW history. Do you also have an archive file I can lookk at before I begin to post some of my questions concerning the gear, clothing, etc used by these citizen soldiers. The info I have so far gathered has been a great help in understanding the how a militia and regular soldier was outfitted during this interesting period in our history. Keep up the great work and hope to be joining on on some of your future discussions. Also, please let me know if I am doing this in the correct manner.
