For those of you who can not get enough Black Hawk War or those who enjoy the beauty of the Upper Mississippi River I want to bring your attention to a 2 hour boat cruise that departs Lansing, Iowa and visits Battle Island and the Victory, Wisconsin area.
172 years ago Captain Throckmorton was at the scene with his boat "Warrior."
Native American, Duke Addicks, will be the narrator on the cruise and offers the story of Black Hawk from his perspective.
